FISHING TRIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The fishing trip is number dependant and will not travel if the minimum numbers are not achieved.
  • The Purchase of travel insurance is highly recommended or accept financial risk – I understand unforeseen health, work, medical or airline problems may cause me to cancel this trip. Compensation for trip cancellation or lost/damaged bags and/or equipment due to any reason must be claimed against my travel insurance. Weather problems may cause the itinerary to be changed or cancelled. No compensation is offered to change flights or holiday plans. No refund is offered for time lost due to the medical evacuation of a passenger or reduction of fishing time due to bad weather.
  • Guests need to provide their own fishing gear including tackle. No tackle is provided onboard.
  • Weather conditions restrictions for tender use: In rough conditions, tenders will be restricted to protected areas only and/or restricted to mother ship.
  • Medical statement – I state that I am in good health for extended trips. I understand if I have any medical conditions I must advise the Master of the vessel and produce a medical certificate before departure completed by a medical specialist.
  • Zero Tolerance – for recreational drugs on board the vessel, you as an individual are responsible for reporting any such behaviour to the Master of the vessel.
  • Release & Indemnity Deed – Must be completed and signed by all guests before departure or participating in any activities. All tender drivers must present proof of licence and are responsible for any damage to the tenders due to careless and irresponsible action on their part including but not limited to the tender, propeller, gearbox and motor damage.
  • The fishing trip can be cancelled upon the discretion of the operator taking into account the sea and weather conditions of the day.
  • The operator reserves the right to substitute the vessel and/or change the trip’s itinerary without notice.
  • Fuel Levy – An additional $50 per person for every 20 cent increment once the diesel reaches $2.80/Litre. For example, $2.80/L = $50, $3.00/L = $100, $3.20/L = $150/person on Swains Trips. The fuel levy will be collected from you on the boat.
  • Guests need to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to departure time.
  • Full payment – required 90 days prior to trip date. If your payment is not received by due date your spot may not be held.
  • Cancellation Policy
    • The 100%, 50% & 25% deposit is non-refundable.
    • Any transfers are made at management’s discretion based on availability and will incur an administration fee.
    • If you are suffering from an illness prior to and/or on the day of departure that could be contagious then you may be excluded from the charter and you will not receive a refund. All issues must be reported to staff members.
    • I am aware that some activities may be limited to me due to physical impediments e.g size and/or weight that constrain me from participating appropriately. I will not object to any staff member’s decision.

MERCHANDISE STORE DETAILS

DOMESTIC (WITHIN AUSTRALIA)
We offer FREE shipping on all Australian orders valued over AUD $199.00.
For all other orders in Australia, we charge a flat fee of AUD $16.00. All orders are shipped using Australia Post. Orders received before 10:00am (Queensland Time) will generally be dispatched on the same day, however, please allow up to 7 business days for orders to be delivered. This could be longer during peak periods and public holidays.

INTERNATIONAL (OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA)
For all orders travelling outside of Australia we request you email the office [email protected] and discuss your order with our team.

International Customs Charges and Duties:
These charges are determined by the local customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of the order or any shipping charge that may apply to the order. Payment of these charges is necessary to release your order from your local customs authority. We suggest contacting your local customs authority if you are unsure of the applicable charges related to your order.
If you refuse to pay these charges your order maybe returned or abandoned. If the order is returned, we will refund your order less any return freight costs incurred. Your order may not be returned and therefore abandoned, and Reality Fishing Charters will not be held responsible for any loss as a result of this occurrence.

REALITY FISHING CHARTERS RETURNS POLICY
You can return or exchange any item for a refund within 20 days of receiving your original order as long as the items are in original order, that is unworn and unwashed, tags still attached and the items are in the original packaging.
You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for the item/s you are returning. Return shipping costs will be calculated based on your address. If you would like an exchange for a different item, please select store credit and you’ll be sent a gift card to purchase another item.
If you believe that your item is faulty, please email [email protected] with the following: Your name, Order number, and images of the fault for review.
We offer store credit on full-priced items only that are returned within 20 days of order. There is no store credit on Sale items which are not eligible for returns or exchange. Store Credit will only be processed on the return of the item/s.
The item/s being returned by you are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so please make sure they are packed properly and cannot get damaged on the way. We are not responsible for any items that are returned to us by mistake.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning your items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you request a refund, the cost of the shipping will be deducted from your refund. We always recommend using a trackable postal service when returning items to us, in case of the unlikely event we do not receive it.
Please note: Exchanges are limited to once per transaction.
