9 Day Kenn Reef Sports Fishing Adventure

This really is a sports fisherman’s trip of a lifetime.! “Reality Fishing Charters” will take you to this very remote and rarely fished sea mount with pristine reefs, crystal clear waters and massive drop offs.

This amazing fishing adventure is designed specifically for the sports fisherman who loves to target apex trophy predators of the blue water with lures and jigs. You and one other will be fishing from a 4.3m poly tender that has been specifically set up to cater for the sports fisherman. Each tender is fitted with a high quality sounder/GPS, stand up rod holders, trolling rod holders, VHF radio, sports lean bars and much more. This fishing adventure is about having the initiative to explore and hunt down many astonishing trophy apex predators like GTs, Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowfin tuna, Dolphin fish, Job fish to name a few. These common species are found around the islands and reefs but as they are on the move all the time you will need to hunt them down and become your own fishing guide. It is highly recommended for all anglers to do research before coming on the trip to give yourself the best opportunity to take full advantage of these rich inhabited waters. A good idea is to study charts and maps before coming on the trip to extract GPS co-ordinates to give you some direction once at the reef. If you are someone who wants to be guided on the fish or take home a big feed of fish then this is not the trip for you.

It is part of the Coral Sea Islands and is over 280 nm north-east from Gladstone, Queensland.
